Team-Teach Courses Designed for Social Care Providers

Social Services have a statutory obligation to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and often provide a wide range of services to children and their parents.

These can include planned breaks or a series of short breaks on a regular basis or at a time of particular stress. Short breaks or respite care provides opportunities for children and young people with or without disabilities, to access inclusive activities alongside their peers, siblings and friends.

For staff working within Social Care, Team-Teach training can provide a greater understanding of why some of the young people may display challenging behaviours.

Training can support teams to develop shared values and support one another through a common approach to positive behaviour support. The training also offers teams a stronger sense of professional security around anxious, troubled and sometimes troublesome

  • Courses delivered over full days, part days or via twilight sessions (including weekends if preferred)
