Team-Teach Courses Designed for Pupil Referral Units
Pupils requiring the support of a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) are often suffering from huge anxieties relating to the breakdown of their previous school placement. These pupils may be also have social and emotional problems, communication difficulties and may display
a huge range of difficult behaviours.
This can be a very challenging environment in which to work. However, Team-Teach training can help the dedicated staff develop a common approach to behaviour support, where the pupils can begin to feel valued as individuals and staff know they are professionally supported through recognised accredited training.
Team-Teach training within a PRU can offer:
Bespoke training for your PRU developed through consultation and a thorough assessment of your specific requirements
Training for all levels of staff to enable them to support all children, but in particular those children who display communication difficulties, have a specific learning disability (e.g. Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Sensory Impairment, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) or display problematic or challenging behaviours.
